The Mummy

FantasyHorrorRomance73 min

After a British archaeological expedition in Egypt accidentally revives a buried priest with an ancient life-giving spell, Boris Karloff is Imhotep, newly awake after millennia and moving through the modern world under an assumed identity. His search centers on Helen Grosvenor, with Zita Johann as the young woman he believes is the reincarnation of the lover he lost in ancient Egypt. Museum collections, excavation sites, and forbidden rituals connect the present to a much older crime, as archaeologists and scholars realize the figure they unearthed is still carrying out a plan that began thousands of years earlier.
