Murder on the Orient Express
CrimeDramaMysteryThriller128 min
In 1935, a murder on the snowbound Orient Express turns a cross-Europe train journey into a closed-circle investigation. Albert Finney is Hercule Poirot, roused from his trip to examine a death in the next car after the train grinds to a halt and the killer is left stranded among the passengers. Sidney Lumet’s adaptation packs the compartments with faces like Lauren Bacall and Sean Connery, as Poirot moves from cabin to cabin, testing alibis, picking through small inconsistencies, and trying to solve the case before the train moves again.
