Lock Up

ActionAdventureCrimeDramaThriller115 min

With parole six months away, Sylvester Stallone is inmate Frank Leone, serving time for a relatively minor offense at a minimum-security prison. Then he’s abruptly transferred to a harsher maximum-security facility run by Donald Sutherland’s Warden Drumgoole, an official still furious over a past public humiliation tied to Frank. Inside the new prison, Drumgoole turns every rule, work detail, and confrontation into a way of keeping Leone trapped. The film centers on one prisoner trying to hold onto his release date while a vindictive warden uses the system, and the men inside it, to close every exit.
