In a Better World
DramaRomance119 min
In small-town Denmark, a bullied boy and his intense new friend decide that humiliation should be answered with revenge, linking two families already strained by loss and separation. Mikael Persbrandt is a doctor moving between his family at home and an African refugee camp, where the restraint he preaches is tested by violence. Ulrich Thomsen's father arrives with a son carrying fresh grief, and the boys' bond quickly turns dangerous as schoolyard cruelty spills into the adults' lives.
