Red Dwarf

ComedySci-Fi28 min per episode

After suspended animation carries him three million years into deep space, low-ranking technician Dave Lister wakes aboard the mining ship Red Dwarf to find he’s the last human alive. Craig Charles is Lister, marooned with the hologram of his deceased bunkmate Arnold Rimmer, while Chris Barrie gives Rimmer the air of an unwanted roommate who never went away. Danny John-Jules’s Cat, a life-form descended from Lister’s pregnant pet, rounds out the ship’s strange company. The series builds its jokes out of isolation, malfunctioning space travel, and a crew made up of one human, one hologram, and something very far removed from a house cat.
