My Best Friend's Wedding

ComedyDramaRomance105 min

Food critic Julianne Potter thought her bond with longtime friend Michael O'Neal was safely platonic until he calls with news: he’s marrying debutante Kimberly Wallace in just a few days. Julia Roberts is Julianne, suddenly throwing herself into a wedding week she hopes to derail, while Cameron Diaz’s Kimberly arrives as the fiancée Julianne didn’t expect. Dermot Mulroney brings an easy charm to Michael, still treating Julianne as his closest friend, and George (Rupert Everett) steps in as her witty confidant and reluctant accomplice. As the ceremony gets closer, Julianne keeps forcing herself deeper into the festivities while her efforts to split the couple up grow harder to hide.
