Luther: The Fallen Sun

ActionAdventureCrimeDramaMysteryThriller129 min

Idris Elba is John Luther, the brilliant but disgraced detective sitting in prison while a serial killer uses blackmail, cybercrime, and abductions to terrorize London. Haunted by the case that got away from him, Luther breaks out to hunt the taunting murderer on his own terms, even as the search widens into missing persons and a larger manhunt. Cynthia Erivo and Andy Serkis join Elba in a continuation of the Luther story that keeps its focus on one investigator’s drive to stop a killer, no matter how far outside the law he has to go.
