Havoc

CrimeDrama85 min

In wealthy Los Angeles neighborhoods, a group of teenagers starts treating gangster style as something to copy. Drawn to hip-hop culture, they talk tough, cross into unfamiliar parts of the city, and turn other people’s lives into a thrill ride they can visit and leave behind. What begins as posturing and slum tourism gets riskier when their games bring them face to face with drug dealers and gang territory. As the line between imitation and danger disappears, the protections they count on stop working. Anne Hathaway and Bijou Phillips are among the teens learning too late that acting street-smart is not the same as understanding the world they are stepping into.
