In a misty hill town, a local police officer returning to duty is pulled into the case of a missing teenage girl, and the search quickly turns darker. Rumors of a long-feared forest predator blur with signs of a human killer, forcing the investigation to move between village superstition, buried family secrets, and pressure from people who want the truth contained. As more leads point in conflicting directions, she and the outsider officer assigned to help her struggle to separate panic from evidence. Raveena Tandon and Parambrata Chatterjee anchor a case where every clue deepens the town’s fear and suggests that the danger may be closer than anyone admits.
