In the Shadow of the Moon
ActionAdventureCrimeMysterySci-FiThriller115 min
In 1988 Philadelphia, officer Thomas “Locke” Lockhart starts chasing a promotion and ends up hunting a serial killer whose murders don’t make scientific sense. Boyd Holbrook is Locke, and when the same suspect appears to return nine years later, the case turns into a decades-long obsession that erodes his career and strains his family. Cleopatra Coleman’s elusive woman stays just out of reach, with each new appearance deepening the mystery around what Locke saw that first night. Jim Mickle’s film threads police work, family fallout, and science-fiction ideas through one detective’s increasingly desperate search for answers.
