Black Ransom
ActionAdventureCrimeThriller93 min
When a major triad boss is kidnapped in Hong Kong, new police superintendent Koo pulls Mann, a former supercop now sidelined to back-up duty, back into the middle of the case. Simon Yam is Mann, facing off with Sam, an ex-cop whose grudges and insider knowledge make the abduction more than a routine gangland crime. Michael Miu's Koo is betting that Mann can stop Sam before the feud reaches Mann's family, turning a high-profile kidnapping into a personal fight.
