A physicist is abducted on his way home in Chicago and wakes up in a version of his life that is not his own. The wife and son he knows are gone, his career has taken a different path, and every answer about what happened opens onto a larger, more dangerous possibility. As Jason tries to return to the family he remembers, he is forced through a maze of alternate realities shaped by choices that split his life in different directions. The search becomes a race against versions of himself and the technology that made the crossings possible. Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly anchor a story where scientific discovery turns one man’s private life into a multiplying crisis.
