Kain, a lone warrior crossing the barren wastelands of the planet Ura, arrives in a village where two enemies are locked in a fight over the only well. He offers his sword for hire, but the struggle between Zeg and the evil Balcaz shifts once his attention turns to the captive sorceress Naja. David Carradine is at the center of the conflict, with María Socas and Luke Askew among the figures caught in the standoff around the village. The story stays close to mercenary bargains, sword fights, and a community whose survival depends on a single source of water.
