DramaThriller189 min
After President John F. Kennedy’s assassination in 1963, New Orleans district attorney Jim Garrison begins questioning the official story and reopens the case. Kevin Costner is Garrison, following witness testimony, missing evidence, and political pressure as his inquiry widens from Lee Harvey Oswald to the institutions around him. Gary Oldman’s Oswald remains central to the case, with Tommy Lee Jones and Joe Pesci among the many figures pulled into Garrison’s orbit. Directed by Oliver Stone, the film moves between courtroom arguments, reconstructed events, and archival-style imagery as it traces one of the most contested investigations in modern American history.
