Gia

DramaRomance120 min

Angelina Jolie is Gia Carangi, a young woman who shoots to fame in the late-1970s fashion world and becomes one of its first supermodels. Her rise through a glossy, fast-moving industry is shadowed by persistent loneliness and drug addiction. Faye Dunaway's Wilhelmina Cooper is a key figure in Gia's career, and Elizabeth Mitchell appears within the circle around her as attention, nightlife, and work begin to overtake everything else. Michael Cristofer's biographical drama follows the public image and private collapse of a model whose face was suddenly everywhere.
