In 1880s America, Rayne is a half-human, half-vampire warrior hunting Billy the Kid and his posse after the outlaw gang becomes a band of vampire cowboys. Natassia Malthe takes over the lead as Rayne, carrying the story through a Wild West landscape of saloons, six-shooters, and supernatural bloodshed, with Michael Paré among the supporting cast. The film shifts the BloodRayne setup into frontier territory, pitting its dhampir heroine against an undead version of one of the West’s most notorious gunslingers.
