Elvira: Mistress of the Dark
ComedyFantasyHorror96 min
After losing her horror-host gig, Elvira heads to a small town to claim an unexpected inheritance: a rundown house in the middle of a deeply prudish community. Her arrival, all black clothes, big hair, and unapologetic attitude, turns her into an instant scandal. As the locals try to push her out, she discovers the inheritance includes more than old property, drawing her into a scramble over a mysterious cookbook and the attention of people who want it for themselves. Cassandra Peterson’s Elvira answers the town’s outrage with mischief, double entendres, and a growing feud that turns gossip, greed, and small-town outrage into a supernatural mess.
