Mother

CrimeDramaMysteryThriller129 min

A mother who lives quietly with her intellectually disabled son sees her world collapse when a young girl is killed and he is charged with the murder. Kim Hye-ja is the fiercely protective parent at the center, refusing to accept the case as closed, while Won Bin gives her son a guarded, uncertain presence as the accusation tightens around him. Directed by Bong Joon Ho, the film follows her search for answers through ordinary streets and back rooms, where police assumptions, local gossip, and her own determination keep pushing the case in darker directions.
