The Wolfman

DramaFantasyHorrorThriller103 min

Benicio Del Toro is Lawrence Talbot, an American in Victorian London trying to repair the breach with his estranged father when a werewolf bite leaves him cursed by moonlight. Back at the family estate, Anthony Hopkins gives Talbot’s father an imposing, uneasy presence, while Emily Blunt is drawn into the violence closing in around the household. As attacks spread through the surrounding countryside, Lawrence is pulled between family secrets, suspicion, and the savage hunger that comes with his transformation. Gothic manor halls, foggy night scenes, and period England frame this revival of the classic werewolf tale.
