The King of Queens
Comedy25 min per episode
Doug Heffernan is a Queens deliveryman whose easy routine with his wife, Carrie, gets knocked sideways when her newly widowed father moves into their house. Kevin James is Doug, a regular guy suddenly giving up his basement plans and a lot of his privacy, while Leah Remini’s Carrie meets him with equal parts affection and exasperation. Jerry Stiller’s Arthur turns the Heffernans’ home into a crowded three-way arrangement, with everyday fights over money, marriage, family obligations, and who gets control of the living room. In working-class Rego Park, small domestic problems have a way of becoming full-scale standoffs.
