Rob Roy
ActionAdventureDramaWar139 min
In the Scottish Highlands of the 1700s, Liam Neeson is Rob Roy MacGregor, a Highlander who borrows money from the local nobility to buy cattle and improve life for his community. When the money is stolen, the debt leaves Rob branded an outlaw and puts his family in the path of powerful enemies. Jessica Lange appears as Rob’s wife, and Tim Roth’s Archibald Cunningham stands out among the aristocrats closing in on him. What begins as a business gamble turns into a fight over survival, reputation, and control of the Highlands.
