Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked
ActionAdventureAnimationComedyFamilyFantasyMusical87 min
A cruise-ship prank sends the Chipmunks and Chipettes overboard, leaving them stranded on a tropical island that isn’t as deserted as it first appears. Justin Long is Alvin, with Matthew Gray Gubler and Jesse McCartney back as Simon and Theodore, while Amy Poehler, Anna Faris, and Christina Applegate voice the Chipettes. Jason Lee’s Dave and David Cross’s Ian are part of the live-action side of the scramble as the film turns survival, rescue plans, and island discoveries into slapstick chases, musical numbers, and another round of chaos for the crew.
