The Words

DramaMysteryRomanceThriller102 min

Rory Jansen finally breaks through when a manuscript he publishes is hailed as the next great American novel — except he stole it. Bradley Cooper is Rory, an ambitious young writer whose sudden success starts to unravel when an older man (Jeremy Irons) appears and says the book is his. With Zoe Saldana alongside Rory as his wife, the fallout moves from literary scandal to something more personal, as guilt, ambition, and authorship start to blur. The story turns on who gets to claim a life on the page, and what it costs when the words belong to someone else.
