Based on a True Story
ComedyDramaHorrorMystery29 min per episode
A realtor, a plumber, and a former tennis star find their lives unexpectedly colliding as they try to make something out of America’s obsession with true crime. Kaley Cuoco and Chris Messina lead the series at the center of that tangle, with Tom Bateman woven into a setup where murder, media fixation, and domestic aggravations start feeding off each other. The show turns suburban ambition and everyday frustrations into a mystery with a dark-comic streak, keeping one foot in crime-story territory and the other in the small humiliations of adult life, right down to the now-infamous slow-close toilet seat.
