Thinner
FantasyHorror93 min
After an obese Miami lawyer accidentally kills a Romani woman, her father lays a hex on him with a single word: “Thinner.” Robert John Burke is the attorney at the center of the curse, watching his body waste away at an impossible rate as the threat turns from humiliation to survival. With time running out, he reaches for help outside the law, leaning on a friend with organized-crime ties; Joe Mantegna adds a hard, unsentimental counterpoint to the supernatural setup. The story turns body horror into a steadily escalating chase to find the old man who can lift the curse.
