A Quiet Place: Day One
DramaHorrorSci-FiThriller100 min
As alien creatures that hunt by sound descend on New York City, Samira (Lupita Nyong’o) has to cross a suddenly silent Manhattan with her cat Frodo and stay alive long enough to find somewhere safe. Joseph Quinn joins her as an unexpected ally, another stranded survivor moving through crowded streets, subway tunnels, and abandoned blocks where the smallest noise can bring an attack. A prequel to the earlier films, it drops into the first day of the invasion, when confusion spreads faster than information and the city’s usual noise gives way to panic, stillness, and split-second choices.
