The Florida Project
Drama115 min
Six-year-old Moonee spends the summer making mischief around a budget motel outside Walt Disney World, roaming parking lots and storefronts with her friends while the adults around them strain to stay afloat. Brooklynn Prince is Moonee, full of curiosity and bravado; Bria Vinaite’s Halley is her young mother, improvising one day at a time. Watching over the Magic Castle is Bobby (Willem Dafoe), the motel manager who keeps order, patches up problems, and tries to shield the kids from hardships they’re too young to fully see.
