Asterix and Obelix vs. Caesar

ActionAdventureComedyFamilyFantasy109 min

In 50 B.C., the last unconquered village in Gaul stays free thanks to a druid’s magic potion, which gives its residents the strength to hold off Rome. When Julius Caesar and his scheming aide Detritus uncover the secret of the elixir and kidnap the druid who knows how to make it, Asterix and Obelix head out to bring him back. Christian Clavier and Gérard Depardieu lead the famous pair through a live-action world of Roman camps, broad physical comedy, and a village stubbornly refusing to fall in line with the empire.
