ActionAdventureFamilyFantasy152 min

On his 11th birthday, Harry Potter learns that the strange things around him have an explanation: he’s a wizard, and Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has been expecting him. Daniel Radcliffe is Harry, leaving the cupboard under his aunt and uncle’s stairs for a castle full of ghosts, broomsticks, shifting staircases, and secrets. With new friends Ron Weasley and Emma Watson’s Hermione Granger, he begins his first year of spells and discoveries while the mystery of his parents’ deaths starts to come into focus under kindly headmaster Albus Dumbledore (Richard Harris).
