The Amazing Spider-Man

ActionAdventureSci-Fi136 min

Peter Parker is a high school outsider still haunted by his parents’ disappearance, living with Uncle Ben and Aunt May while trying to piece together a family mystery. Andrew Garfield’s Peter follows that trail to Oscorp and Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans), his father’s former partner, just as a spider bite leaves him with strange new abilities. Emma Stone brings a sharp, grounded presence as Gwen Stacy, the classmate caught up in Peter’s increasingly divided life. Between school, a masked vigilante streak, and the fallout from Connors’ experiments, Peter starts deciding what to do with powers he never asked for.
