Frankenweenie
AnimationComedyFamilyThriller87 min
After a car accident kills his dog Sparky, young Victor Frankenstein uses electricity to bring him back. Charlie Tahan is the homemade scientist at the center of Tim Burton’s black-and-white stop-motion take on Frankenstein, with Catherine O’Hara and Martin Short voicing the parents, teachers, and neighbors who start to fear what Victor has created. When Sparky slips out into town, his stitched-up return sends panic through the neighborhood, and Victor has to convince everyone that the bolt-necked dog is still the same loyal companion he lost.
