Memphis Belle

ActionAdventureDramaWar107 min

A young B-17 crew based in England heads into one last bombing raid over Bremen before their World War II duty is complete and they can finally go home. Matthew Modine is among the airmen aboard the Memphis Belle, with Eric Stoltz and Tate Donovan part of the close-quarters crew packed into the Flying Fortress. The film follows the mission from the tense pre-flight briefing to the dangerous run over Germany, keeping its focus on the men inside the bomber, the chain of commands around them, and the strain of getting the aircraft through heavy fire and back again.
