Two Weeks Notice

ComedyRomance101 min

Environmental lawyer Lucy Kelson takes a job with New York developer George Wade to save a neighborhood community center, then finds herself functioning less as chief counsel than as babysitter. Sandra Bullock is Lucy, an overworked legal-aid idealist whose billionaire boss keeps leaning on her for everything from contracts to wardrobe advice; Hugh Grant’s George is charming, wealthy, and incapable of making a decision on his own. When Lucy finally hands in her notice and a polished Harvard grad, June Carter (Alicia Witt), arrives to replace her, professional exasperation starts blurring into something more personal.
