On a family trip to London, former CIA analyst Jack Ryan steps into an IRA assassination attempt and turns himself into a target. Harrison Ford is Ryan, a man who thought his intelligence work was behind him until a split-second intervention puts his wife and daughter in danger. Sean Bean turns up as one of the men tied to the retaliatory campaign against him, pushing the conflict from a public attack into something far more personal. Moving between royal security, CIA channels, and Ryan’s home life, the film turns an international incident into a fight over one family’s safety.
