Return of the Living Dead II

ComedyHorrorSci-Fi89 min

A few Army barrels bounce off a passing transport and land near a suburban cemetery, where a group of kids crack one open and release 2-4-5 Trioxin into the air. The gas wakes the dead, sending brain-hungry corpses out of their graves and into the surrounding housing development. Michael Kenworthy is one of the boys who sets the outbreak in motion, while Marsha Dietlein and Dana Ashbrook are among the locals caught up in the spreading panic. Green toxic fog, shambling bodies, and a neighborhood under siege give this 1988 sequel its mix of gore, slapstick, and graveyard mayhem.
