Inglourious Basterds

ActionAdventureDramaThrillerWar153 min

In Nazi-occupied France, Lt. Aldo Raine gathers a band of Jewish-American soldiers to terrorize Nazis with brutal acts of revenge. Brad Pitt is Raine, a backwoods officer whose “Basterds” are sent to spread fear through the Third Reich. At the same time, Mélanie Laurent’s Shosanna Dreyfus, a young Jewish woman in Paris, has her own reason to target the regime after her family’s murder. Moving between taverns, checkpoints, and a movie theater marked for a major Nazi event, the story is shadowed by SS colonel Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz), a meticulous interrogator whose presence hangs over every plan.
