Two college students share a ride home for the holidays, but a shortcut through a winter storm leaves them stranded on a deserted road with something waiting in the snow. Emily Blunt is the wary young woman who takes a lift from a classmate she barely knows; Ashton Holmes is the driver, whose uneasy small talk gives way to panic as the night turns stranger. As the cold closes in and a mysterious vehicle forces them off the road, the pair find themselves trapped on a stretch of highway haunted by the people who died there decades earlier.
