The Outsider
ActionCrimeDramaMysteryThriller120 min
Released from prison in post-World War II Osaka, a former American G.I. is pulled into a yakuza family and begins remaking himself inside their world of debt, loyalty, and violence. Jared Leto is the ex-soldier at the center, an outsider trying to survive in a city still reshaped by war. Around him, Tadanobu Asano and Kippei Shiina bring the pressure of the syndicate’s inner circle as the bargain that won his freedom draws him deeper into Japan’s criminal underworld.
