Shaft

ActionAdventureCrimeThriller99 min

After a racially charged murder on a New York street, detective John Shaft arrests the wealthy suspect, only to watch him buy his way out and disappear. Shaft quits the force, but when the case heats up again, he comes back on his own terms to track down the killer and protect the only witness willing to talk. The hunt pulls him from police headquarters into nightclubs, back alleys, and the orbit of a drug kingpin who can make people vanish. Samuel L. Jackson’s Shaft is up against money, intimidation, and a city where every lead seems to come with a price.
