Moana
ActionAdventureAnimationComedyFamilyFantasyMusical120 min
Moana hears the Ocean’s call and leaves the island of Motunui for the first time, sailing beyond the reef to restore prosperity to her people. Catherine Laga’aia is the young heroine at the center of the voyage, joined by Dwayne Johnson’s Maui, the infamous demigod whose outsized presence adds swagger and conflict to the mission. This live-action reimagining of the 2016 animated film keeps the story rooted in Polynesian seafaring, island mythology, and a journey that pushes Moana far beyond the world she has known.
