When exiled billionaire Ashish Kapoor dies during his birthday gathering at a Scottish castle, CBI officer Mira Rao is called in to sort through a house full of suspects. Vidya Balan is Mira, steady and sharp as she questions Kapoor’s family and friends, each carrying grudges, secrets, and a possible motive. Ram Kapoor’s Ashish looms over the case even after his death, turning the celebration into a tightly sealed investigation. As Mira works through shifting stories and strained loyalties, the guest list starts to look less like a reunion and more like a map of old resentments.
