The Devil All the Time

CrimeDramaThriller139 min

Tom Holland is Arvin Russell, a young man trying to protect his family as violence and corruption close in around his small corner of rural Ohio and West Virginia. Spanning the years after World War II into the 1960s, the story follows a web of damaged believers, predators, and drifters whose lives keep colliding in and around Knockemstiff. Bill Skarsgård appears as Arvin’s war-scarred father, while Robert Pattinson’s preacher brings another strain of menace to the town’s churchgoing surface. Murder, faith, and family loyalty run together as Arvin is pulled toward the people threatening those closest to him.
