The Thomas Crown Affair

CrimeDramaRomanceThriller113 min

Bored with his polished routine, Pierce Brosnan is Thomas Crown, a billionaire who steals a Monet from a museum simply to give himself something dangerous to do. The job brings in Rene Russo’s Catherine Banning, an insurance investigator who quickly suspects that the smooth collector orbiting the case may also be behind it. As she tracks the missing painting, Crown turns the investigation into a private game of bluffing, surveillance, and seduction, while Denis Leary’s skeptical detective pushes for a cleaner, more direct case.
