The Park Maniac
CrimeDramaHorrorThriller103 min
An infamous serial killer targeting women in 1990s Brazil collides with a young journalist chasing the story that could define her career. As she pushes for answers, the case becomes a tense standoff between media scrutiny, public fear, and a murderer whose crimes are already notorious. Drawn from true events and told in Portuguese, the film centers on the widening fallout around the investigation rather than treating the killings as distant headlines. Silvero Pereira and Giovanna Grigio lead the cast, with Mariana Amâncio and Marco Pigossi among the figures caught in the case’s orbit.
