Gambit
ComedyCrime89 min
Harry Deane is a London art curator with a revenge plan: trick his abusive boss into buying a fake Monet. Colin Firth’s Harry thinks he has every detail covered, from the forged painting to the invented provenance, but the scheme depends on PJ Puznowski, a Texas rodeo queen whose unpredictability keeps knocking the con off course. Cameron Diaz brings the outsider energy opposite Alan Rickman’s wealthy, vain Lord Lionel Shabandar, the collector Harry wants to fleece. What begins as a polished art-world swindle keeps sliding into awkward meetings, crossed signals, and increasingly messy improvisation.
