The 40-Year-Old Virgin
ComedyRomance116 min
Andy Stitzer is 40, has a nice apartment and a steady job stamping invoices at an electronics store, and his co-workers are stunned to learn he’s still a virgin. Steve Carell is Andy, a quiet guy suddenly dragged into poker-night interrogations, bad advice, and his buddies’ campaign to change his sex life. What starts as workplace ribbing turns into a string of awkward attempts to “help,” with bars, dates, and oversharing all pushed on him at once. Then Andy meets Trish, a single mom and small-business owner; Catherine Keener’s Trish brings a more grounded presence into the mess surrounding him.
