Superhero Movie

Rick Riker is a nerdy high schooler who gets a bizarre upgrade when a radioactive dragonfly leaves him with superpowers — and a hard time figuring out how to use them. Drake Bell is Rick, fumbling his way toward superhero status while Lou Landers emerges as the villainously goofy Hourglass. Sara Paxton and Leslie Nielsen move through the school-and-city chaos around him as the movie spoofs comic-book origin stories, masked-vigilante clichés, and big action set pieces with broad slapstick.
