After a college student’s suicide in Tokyo, strange websites, ghostly visions, and sudden disappearances begin spreading through the city as if the internet has opened a door to the afterlife. Kumiko Aso’s Michi, a plant-shop worker looking into a coworker’s death, follows one thread of the mystery, while Haruhiko Kato is Ryosuke, a student whose first encounter with a hidden website leaves him shaken and obsessed. Moving between their separate paths, the film turns apartments, computer screens, and empty city spaces into places where isolation and the supernatural start to overlap.
