Sarah arrives in rural Wisconsin with her boyfriend (Terry Brown) for Christmas at his family home, but the visit turns ominous when she begins sensing a presence around the house. Helen Benton's Sarah is the first to register that something is wrong, and soon a mysterious figure in samurai armor is cutting through family members, neighbors, and townspeople. Blood Beat folds a holiday homecoming into supernatural horror, with psychic abilities inside the household complicating what first seems like an isolated haunting.
