Bronson

ActionAdventureCrimeDrama92 min

After a post-office robbery lands him a seven-year sentence, Michael Peterson is swallowed by the British prison system and, over decades in solitary confinement, remakes himself as Charles Bronson. Tom Hardy is Peterson at every stage, tracking the shift from volatile young inmate to self-created outlaw persona as prison cells, punishment, and confrontation become the shape of his life. Drawn from the story of the man later known as one of Britain’s most notorious prisoners, the film follows Bronson less as a straight biography than as a portrait of a man turning his own notoriety into an identity.
